So, whenever I wear jeans they get all... twisted? And so the seems aren't where they should be. It looks soo dumb, especially at the back but I have no idea how to stop them from getting twisted? I've tried wearing a different brand of jeans, I've worn different sizes, washed them differently- everything! And they still do it.

I obviously can not go the rest of my life wearing track pants, so how do I stop them from getting twisted?

I'm not sure what you mean by 'twisted'. Try wearing a belt?

like the seams on the legs are all messed up?
don't cross your legs, best advice there is.

Maybe you need a different style of jeans... What are you wearing now? Show pics/describe this "twisted" you speak of.

Yeah, I'm not sure how to explain it, like the seeming shifts?
Like, at the back of the jeans the seem is supposed to go down the middle, but the jeans will twist so that the seem is not in the center and it looks like one side of my butt is bigger? lol The seems on the legs will then shift too.

Sounds like they're the wrong size. If you give us some more information about what you're looking for, maybe we can provide some better suggestions.

Ah, they are 'shifting'! Your pants are too big, most likely. Jeans should fit snugly and move 'with' you, so if they are moving about (as it sounds like they are), they may be too loose.

Do you have a small bum? Seems like the jeans are too big if they're able to move around like that. I'm a jean fanatic and this has never happened to me.

Well my normal size in pants is a 3. I tried on a 1 and a 5 and all three sizes shifted.
I don't think they're too big because I wear my jeans pretty tight?

This happened before, it lasted for like a few days and then they stopped shifting, but they've been doing it all summer now and I've tried at least 7 or 8 different pairs of jeans.

Oh, and this is just long jeans. Like I can wear shorts made out of denim and they don't shift.

Are they decent/nicer quality jeans?

I think so?
They're from the stores that pretty much everyone in the city buys theirs from. (Stitches and Jean Machine.)

If you're wearing them too tightly, they may move with you some but can't shift back into place due to friction. I suggest you loosen them and wear a belt. If a belt doesn't work, see a reputable tailor. They'll measure you properly and determine your true size... As well as whether one.. Err.. 'Cheek' is smaller than the other (which could also be a factor).

So you think wearing them too tightly could be the problem?
Ugh, I just don't fit into jeans apparently.

Haha, I could definitly wear jeans 2 months ago, and I can wear tight fitting track pants?
So I'm guessing they're just too tight, I guess.

Apples and oranges - jeans and track pants. ...Then this shifting is a recent phenomena? You've changed size is all. Look at different brands (not all size 3's are created equally!) and try a belt.

EDIT: Actually, you can buy jeans with elastic 'stretch' bands which fit similarly to track pants. You may have difficulty finding those in smaller sizes, though.

Sales associates at the two stores you listed should be able to provide you some focused help with fits, sizing, and styles.

Nope, not really recent.
It happened almost a year ago, and it happened for maybe like 2 weeks, then just stopped and they would fit normally again. (No, I didn't switch sizes or anything.) Then just the beginning of this summer it started happening again.

I'll guess I'll try a belt.

May be the jeans themselves, possibly shrinking in the wash or just wearing oddly. I really don't know.
