i just recently got this computer. and everytime it shuts down it comes back with a blue screen and says something about a dump. and it won't charge. is there anyway i can fix it?

Get the Disc that came with it, put it in, keep pressing the F8 key until a menu comes up, choose 'Boot from CD' then once the next menu comes up click REPAIR WINDOWS. that should do it.

It obviously needs to take a dump but there is something wrong with its anus.

But yeah, try the above. If that does not work, it might be a hardware problem. Judging from your post I would not recommend that you go fiddling around with the hardware, but you can try to carefully check if all the wires are properly connected. Just be sure not to touch anything else in there. If you have no luck there, I hope you did not throw away the receipt (if it is a new computer the warranty should still be valid).

if it wont charge, then theres a hardware problem, presumably that is why windows is crashing on shutdown too, sounds like there is a problem with the power controller.

that can also be a BIOS problem, as i've learned from experience.
