For iTunes, I would like to increase many of my play counts.

I have tried virtually everything through google search.

I have tried the Library.xml trick, the setting your song on repeat and having it playback at a split second trick, the .js trick... just about everything.

I have Windows by the way.

I'm trying to do this because I recently reset my plays on Last.fm, and I want to import my iTunes history, but I have no history to say the least (because I also reset all of my play counts in iTunes).

it makes no sense to manually edit play counts.....

Ahh, so you're the person who added me on last.fm
As far as changing them, i've no idea, probably would have done the split second thing myself, did that not work?

It just takes forever because I have so many songs.
