I drive a black Nissan Altima Coupe and I want to darken my tail lights completely dark I'm gonna go get it done but I have a question hopefully someone who knows more about cars can help me out...

I've seen videos of the film but for some reason I think the spray is better

1. What's better the film or the spray?

My vote is for the spray, it's easier to control/choose how dark you want them to be, however, it's much harder to remove the spray than the film, if it gets too dark.

spray is better but has to be finished properly to look good.

Spray is pretty good. I did it to my Grand Marquis a few years ago.

Three light coats aughta do it.

Speaking of blacked out tails, my friend showed me a picture of a car parked in valet where he works. A brand new Gallardo Spyder, white, flat black stock wheels, and blacked out tails. Looked great.

lol thanks...I actually found a place and I'm gettin it done Monday. =] There's no way I could even try to do it I'd mess up my car but now that that's taken care of I have another question on what would look good....should I go with some 20" chrome rims or do the black on black I kinda wanna do the black on black but I like the chrome I think it looks really nice

any suggestions?

theres about a million different chrome wheels... and about the same in black...

chrome can look better than black.. black can look better than chrome black.. or polish lips........ or black with red lips...................

Go with Ice white and black out the trim/rims.
Also tint everything to the max.

Agree, stay away from chrome go with silver or gunmetal otherwise black is a great choice even hyper black

Personally I'm quite partial to a flat black if the wheels are right for it.

black chrome 18s. its easy to do it yourself if you feel nervous about it just spray paint on a cardboard box for practice till you feel comfortable. i did mine with 3 coats of VHT and 2 coats of clear. they look good imo but youll definitely want led lights if yours doesnt have them stock.

lime mother fuckin green!! stand out, as far as here in minnesota goes, I'm sick of the typical black on black, and chrome stopped looking good to me years ago,maybe a matte bronze or something? depends on the depth of the black, but blacked out is played out. IMHO.
