Y'know, I'm a huge Aston fan and I don't like that at all. It's too sporty for an Aston. The one thing I've always liked about Astons is that for all their performance their styling has always been refined and classy. Then again I suppose trying something different is cool, kinda like the 4-door Porsche that I can never remember the name of.

Ute's are much more popular in Australia. Though I don't get why he'd post it as the nicest vehicle of '09 when it's not even new or restyled for '09. While I agree on the lack of appeal for an Ute, if you were in the market for one that'd be the one to get for sure.

I agree, it looks like a V8 Vantage that's befriended an axe murderer, but this WAS the nicest car of 09 thread, and so far that's the nicest one i've seen. x]

Yeah, other then the Cayenne. That was more of a sport SUV, this is a sport sedan.
I think it's biggest competition is the M5 though, it starts at 4 grand less then the base model Panamera.
But if you get then Panamera turbo, then you could get a Masterati quatraporte S, for less money then it. XD
And Porsche sure picked a great time to release a 90 grand car with the recession and all. >.>

my apologies, i uploaded the wrong pic, yes that is the concept gtr. i still dont think they are all that similar, i guess the headlights are a bit. but with that theory i then guess you could say a nissan 180sx/240sx is similar to an rx-7 haha ;]

Which imo is stupid, carbon fiber is supposed to be purpose built, not to look good. XD

Thats to expensive for my blood lol, what kind of running gear does it have? It's not that I don't like other makes, I just haven't a lot other than Fords that stand up the stuff up here. I mean Dodge can't even build a strong enough frame for a wrecker or a 4 door long box megacab, which is the same length as a standard ford 4 door. I like the 6.2/6.5 Detroit for the simplicity, just for the same reason I like the 6.9/7.3 IH IDI. They even use the same model IP. I don't care what anybody says bout the old NA's, but they start better with the higher compression and they last forever with little mantinance, and they are as fast or faster off the line than newer trucks because they dont require any boost for full fuel. I know that there are some good cars out there but I also have seen a lot of poor designs while working on stuff. I mean, my mom had a VW Passat and just pulling into the driveway the power steering pump would drag and we eventually had to replace it because of it wore through. I just like vehicles that are all metal bodies not stuff that falls apart on a speed bump like all the plastic cars today.

I'm going to have to say the 2009 Camaro for any new 2009 American made vehicle...... Just something about the old and new muscle car look that attracts me too it....... Honestly though the 2009 Corvette Stingray prototype made me jizz myself when I first saw it. So for American it's between those two.

The best European made car in 2009 is definately the Lambo Reventon.

The best Asian made car in 2009 is the Nissan GTR for sure.

As far as new American sports cars I'd say 2010 Mustang for looks and Camaro for performance.
