I recently saw the movie Drag me to hell. i know it is a horror movie and all but it wasnt that scary. it was my first horror movie and i didnt think it was all that scary. it had a few moments that made me jump but it wasnt all that scary. are all horror movie like drag?

I don't know if it was necessarily suppose to be that scary, that's not really Sam Raimi's style. I mean, it's rated PG-13 for god's sake.

i dont know how many dicks he sucked to get that rating but i've seen hard R's with less blood and gore.

It was a campy, enjoyably hilarious and frightening experience.
If you thought that film was supposed to be serious... you haven't seen the Evil Dead Trilogy.
Sam Raimi's horrors aren't crafted explicitly to scare you - they're crafted to engage every one of your emotions and senses. And I thought that movie did it very well - refreshing humor, revolting gore, and some very strange and pitiful rituals thrown in there (I wanted to stab her for the poor kitten.)

The movie was definitely not scary. I didn't really like the movie. I thought it was dumb and very predictable. I was disappointed!!! =(
