Yup.
I have fairly long, straight, layered, golden-brown hair and bangs as well. I consider my hair pretty thick and I also have a lot of it. I've already gotten my hair "thinned out" about 2 months ago, and I also added more layers.
My hair, once it is completely dry after washing it or what have you, tends to get statically charged rather easily.
I straighten my hair most days, 'cause it just looks neater that way.
I don't know if it's considered oily or dry... I mean, after a good 24 hours after having washed it, it starts to get oily.
(^Don't know if any of that helps, just trying to provide some backround info.)

My main problem with it is that I don't like how it looks so flat at the top.
So I was just wondering what sort of products/styling tips will give my hair more volume at the top? I don't want to look like some scenester replica of all these people on MySpace; I just want hair with more body, texture, volume, etc.

I'm really not into mousse and gel and stuff, but if that'll work I suppose that's fine.
I do already have "daring volume" spray and "control mousse". I've tried flipping my hair over and spraying that stuff at the roots, but I've never really seen a big difference.

Thanks in advance :]
