Aero is one of that which I refer to as 'The Big Four' (Aero, A&F, HT, and AE), meaning everyone and his dog shops there.
Frankly, I believe most every thing from Aero, A&F, HT, and AE is simply what it is - moderately priced clothing for high-school/college students. Nothing special about it - just clothing. It can look really nice if put together well (I wear some), if every thing fits properly (tailor!), and if you know how to manipulate texture - just don't fall into the group which believes that fashion begins with Old Navy and ends at Abercrombie... That's just... Ignorant. :P
I've heard of Abercrombie people belittling others for wearing Aero. That's another silly thing to me. XD Thoughts?

I agree. Aero is just like a cheaper version of the more expensive ones.

Aero IS ugly. I think I've bought one shirt from there when I was like 11, and I didn't even like it.

American Eagle is way nicer, and I might own 2 shirts from there.
But Aeropostale is ugly, and it's overpriced.
Sorry, a tank top for $18.50 that I can get at wal-mart or old navy, for $4.00, I'm not buying there.

Aeropostale is like... fashionable for middle schoolers? I seriously don't know anyone who shops there for anything other than socks or something.

aeropostal, american eagle, abercrombie, hollister, whatever. it's all the same pretty much. all the same, uh, "style". all shopped at by the same kind of person (depending on their budget, er?) and most important: all boring. the only difference is a moose, seagull, eagle, bulldog. even then. they're all damn animals sewed in on the left side of their damn striped polos.
i can't help but laugh at the people who take pride in their abercrombie and spit on american eagle. and people who wear american eagle spit on aeropostal. and people who wear aeropostal spit on walmart. it's so dumb and immature. then again i'm talking about teenagers in high school so i might as well be talking to a wall, because how dare i talk against their social class indicator.

i think Aero's stuff doesn't fit as well and doesn't look as good as the other stores mentioned.
i still shop at AE and sometimes A&F, but whatever i buy is on sale and now that i'm older i find less stuff that i like in there.

I think that's a bit of an exhaggeration. Anyway, I've only shopped at American Eagle and Aeropostale because those are the only two (of the four stores) that we have around here. My bone the pick with Aeropostale is this: I went in there the other day, hoping to strike lucky and find a pair of capris or shorts and they biggest size they had in the whole store was a 5/6 -_-. So either a)they were all out of bigger sizes, b)they honestly think everyone is a skinny person or c) it really is targeted towards younger people.
I like American Eagle, I buy mostly all my jeans there because they fit me really well and due to past experiences have lasted a really long time. I buy the occasional shirt from there, but only as a special treat. I don't dislike any of the stores, for a high schooler they give you all you could possibly need.
Edit: I do love my Aeropostale messenger bag, though :)

no, it's not an exhaggeration. seriously, i bought a basic tank top, but with a little heart on it, and found pretty much the exact same shirt, at walmart, minus the heart, for like $4.50.

Why the hell would I pay 20 to 30 dollars more for the same exact shirt at A&F? Seriously, I'd been in A&F and if the ridiculous prices don't get you, that damn perfume that lingers in the store will. The shirts, pants and hoodies are identical with different logos.
For a while now, Aeropostale has better sales than Aerocombie; their stocks have been dropping for some time now.

"Teens who haven't abandoned the shopping mall altogether are buying their clothes at stores like American Eagle (AEO) and Aeropostale (ARO), which are increasingly positioning themselves as budget-friendly. Both stores are currently pushing promotions online, like buy-one, get-one free deals. Check out Abercrombie's Web site, though, and while you won't find any such online promotions on the latest season's items, you will find (warning!) a model with his hand down his pants."

my opinion is if you like abercrombie, hollister, aeropostale and american eagle...don't shop there. go to ruehl thats the true high end out of those

i don't like any of those types of stores. they're all overpriced with plain clothing. if i have to choose, i'd shop at aero or american eagle. i have a very lovely sweater i bought a year ago at american eagle, and it still looks new even though i've worn it dozens of times.
really, though, those types of stores aren't my thing. i'm more into stores like forever21 and wetseal, where prices are cheaper and each top looks different. at stores like A&F every shirt looks exactly the same except it's a different color.

Ruehl925 is an Abercrombie product. If you want to avoid The Big Four altogether, but still want trendy, pricey (albeit well-made) clothing with some degree of sex appeal, try Hugo Boss (Boss Orange) or Versace.
If you want inexpensive (but aren't concerned too much about quality), try Red Camel or Company 81 ( both available at Belk).
I also recommend American Rag (Macy's) which is quite nice (and is about the same price range/quality as HCO).

Let's face it. None of these (Ruehl, A&F, Hollister, or Aero) are exactly the epitome of fashion. They're cheap. But out of all of them, I loathe Aero the most. None of their clothes ever fit me. I was 5'7" when I was 12 and all the shirts were too short and wide for me. Plus, they all had really weird pictures like these monkey things and little duckies and such. >.> It's cheap stuff for preteens. Of course, I know guys around here who wear it into college. So maybe the dude's section is different.
