So, me and my best friend had a yard sale today.
We made $35 even, which was alright, but not the best considering all the stuff we had.
We are doing it again on May 2nd and May 9th. However, I need some ideas of more stuff to put out.
What items are popular at yard sales right now?
At this yard sale we had today, we had tons of clothes. They were mainly all smalls and mediums in Junior sizes though.
I think we only sold 2 of the clothes items.
What we mainly sold was pocketbooks, shoes, and jewelry.
we will be reusing what we didn't sell this time, but need more items to sell with it.
Also, does anybody suggest prices?
We ranged from $0.25 to $12 (the high end stuff being electronics).
However, I did have a woman complain that $2 was too much for a tee shirt that had only been worn twice.
And a man refused to give higher than $1 on a pair of brand new shoes still in the box!
All of the clothing items were also name brand and from places such as Aeropostale, Rue 21, Goodys, Wal-Mart, Sears, etc.
All of the clothes were in PERFECT condtion also. None of them had holes, rips, or stains.
Many of the clothes had only been worn once or twice and some of them still had the tags on them.
