I thought the trailer itself was better than watching the movie. But I'd say this was better than THE UNINVITED and THE UNBORN. When your out in the middle of nowhere practically, with no one around for miles and there's no power...yeah...I would go to whatever lengths to kill those sons-a-bitches to, LOL. I thought the acting was great. This is DEFINETLY Sara Paxton's( Darcy's Wild Life & Aquamarine) most serious and intense role to date. Her entire role was based on playing this EXTREMELY tortured teenager. She absolutely pulled it off. The whole movie was intense, sad and definetly not far-fetched. It's an eye opener for sure. The gore factor wasn't TOO extreme, at least for me anyways. My only problem was that it took till just after an hour to pick up the momentum and to get to the good parts that the trailer showed. All together I think I'll give it a solid B-. Could have been a little bit better.

I didn't even like the original Last House on the Left. I might see it when it goes to the dollar theatre, we'll see.

There were a few bullshit things about the movie, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was entertaining, no? I thought it'd be incredibly ridiculous. I mean it was a little overdone. The teenagers acted ridiculous and a skull cannot split into pieces from a microwave...but I was still pleasantly surprised.

I thought it was a very well acted movie.
Alot of it was pretty realistic too.
Not the best ending.
But, definitely worth the trip to the movies.
Solid B+ to A-

I thought it was a pretty kickass movie. I loved the ending, and I didn't mind that most of the action was towards the end because the parts building up to it was pretty interesting. I would definately give it a solid A. I'm definantly going to buy it on DVD. It wasn't too gory, and it wasn't as much a horror movie as a suspense or thriller. I would recommend it to anyone.

The original Last House On The Left wasn't even that good, maybe for a few chuckles in a, "That's fucked up," way, but, the remake didn't look any better, not to me, anyways.

And it probably is better than The Uninvited, which is a remake of one of my favorite Korean films. Movie makers aren't coming up with anything good anymore, it's easier to stick to the originals.
