I recently posted a post about prom and needing a white dress.

I found one, and am going to buy it as soon as i get my paycheck!


Yes, it's white. I know a lot of you will be like "blah blah wedding blah"


But it looks like a white prom dress. not a white wedding dress.
And im wearing a big red flower in my hair, with gold shoes and accessories. Red nails and lipstick.




I'm crazy excited.

It doesn't look that great on that girl though because she is slouching and such...

Ehh its kind of pretty but I don't really see it as a prom dress--summery/homecoming.
They might do prom different at your school, though.

Its ok that its short.
There are short prom dresses, my best friend has one this year.
But I don't like the fact that its white or that it doesn't look like a prom dress.
The short prom dresses I have seen LOOK like prom dresses, and this one just doesn't.
And once again with the white thing;whites for a wedding not for prom.
I mean, come on. Its prom. Take a chance and go bold. You can wear white anyday.
Go with some color and a pattern or cute design. Its the one night you can really get away with it.

I also noticed that the price on the dress was $72.
Are you going with something simple for the price?
If thats the case, then you really are making a bad choice.
I got my prom dress this year for $90, and its long and has color.
I suggest shopping on the sale rack. Theres nothing wrong with it.
You could also check sites like ebay or go to consignment stores and find a cheap dress.
Maybe you could even borrow a friend's dress from last year if you like it?
I'll also let you in on a secret. If your small enough, go to the kids section.

I got a 14/16(extra large in kids) and it fits me great. Plus is was 10 times cheaper than the regular prom dresses!

I just like the dress. It just happens to be cheap, so it's kind of like a bonus.
And I always go bold. That's why I want to go for a subtle look. And being that it's a short dress, i think that's why it detracts away from a wedding dress.

Yeah, I don't think it looks like a wedding dress at all. Just because it is white, 80% of the replies so far are saying "white is for weddings".. . . . .
