I have like mildly bad skin, but sometimes I get really insecure cause like all my friends have perfect skin.. What do you use.. Like I'm thinking about going on birth control cause I heard that it helps clear acne, but then I have also heard good & bad things about accutane.
I've already tried pro active & differin and they didn't work for me.
Please help lol. :)

Go to a dermatologist first because there are a lot of other treatments available, especially for mild acne.

water, yes yes yes yesss
dun ash it alot though, it strips your skin of the natural oils and dries it out (same with your hair)
I a used Bioré scubby thing and it works soooo well~ I also tried Pro Active, did nothing.

You could try birth control, although I didn't notice much of a difference if any. Try a good cleanser, and wash your face in the morning and at night. Keep acne creams on hand too. If you're not getting any results, hit up the tanner.

Drink lots of water.
Take a multi vitamin.
Eat well.
Use honey as a face mask.
You don't need all of these cleansers, and products. And don't use soap. Just use baby wipes, and a non heavy moisturiser.
And cut down on make up! You don't need it.
My skin is pretty much perfect at the moment. :cutie:

8 glasses of water per day
Cleanse your face morning & night, then apply a toner (I REALLY suggest Witch Hazel).
Try to eat healthy and cut out some sugary foods.

I didn't look at your pictures. Most teenagers wear too much foundation.

Moisturise, if you have annoyingly dry skin like me. A cleanser and toner is a good idea too.
Drink lots of water.
...What exactly is wrong with your skin anyway? oily, dry, spotty, blemishes etc...
I've been on three different birth control tablets. None have made my skin any better. One made me break-out loads, and one made me put on weight. My current gives me ridiculous cramps, but apparently I have to give a shot.
I wouldn't try them just to see if your skin gets any better. But obviously its a great idea if you are having sex.

Use a cleanser with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. Since those can be drying (but they work wonders) use a non oily moisturizer such as oil of olay. Clinique has some really good face washes and moisturizers as well.

The FDA got down on one such birth control company who was making such claims. You need to consult not only the dermatologist, but your dear gynecologist first! Other than that drinking lots of water does really help as suggested by others.

Differin works wonders, takes a while about 3 months but holy crap does it clear up your skin.
However you need to be perscribed to that.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think Accutane is for people with "mildly bad skin"

Alcohol. It has always cleared my skin and never left it too dry and whatnot.
