Actually I really do see the point about her case being publicised so much...by all means, cover it, but it doesn't do anything. No need for so much time devoted to her, with the reporter putting his empathetic, thoughtful but concerned voice on.

I think some media covereage is a good idea.
Cervical cancer screenings have gone up alot because of her making people more aware.
And I think its a nice thought that she wants to make some money for her children before she dies.
Would be better if she did it some useful way, rather than being annoying.

I avoid newspapers and magazine that have many celebrities in, the sort of papers she's in. So she doesn't bother me really.

However disgusting it may be on behalf of Jade and the media itself. Also she's showing how cervical cancer is serious, and it happens to young women. I disagree with it personally, but i can see the reasoning behind it.

This thread is brilliant. I came in here expecting to see ickle teenies crying about how "brave" Jade is being going through her cancer and all, yet everyone appears to have the same view as me.

The recent christening thing just caps it all off. Jade isn't fooling anyone with her "turning to Christ" crap. She's scared of dying and wants to hop on the J-bus for heaven. Simple. I understand why she'd want to raise money, for AT LEAST she understands the importance of education for her kids - although it's questionable whether she would have given a frig if they could have lived off her fortune for most of their lives. So, what else is there to say? Well, nothing really. Better people have died young complete with dignity, without so much as a passing glance from the media.

As a compassionate human being, I wish Jade to rest in peace since after all, she's dying. But it doesn't mean I give a crap nor change my views about her.

I don't care enough to watch her dying, or to read about her dying.
I think it's sad that there are people who are but that's not really her fault is it.She know how she makes her money and so she's just doing what she's always done tbh, blame the people who actually read about it religiously not her. Her kids are going to need all of the help they can get, have you seen her family? I'm pretty sure she's just trying to make sure as much of it gets to them as possible. That doesn't mean that I'm going to cry over her death,it's sad for all those who know her and care for her but I don't know her and she hasn't impacted my life.

I have been following this only through the updates on perezhilton.com and I find the whole situation incredibly upsetting. I never really stopped to think about the publicity because I was too bothered by the news of her suffering. But, that's just the way I am with death. I think people's reactions will have a lot to do with their personal emotions. I, personally, can't be angry at all over how she's choosing to handle her death. That being said, I didn't know of her when she was on all of those reality shows, so I'm sure I'm missing part of the story.

And soon will never her two young boys again, she's trying to get all the money she can for them & i say good on ya Jade! She's so brave it's unreal. And hopefully with all the publicity she'll help other women go get tested before it's too late and another young life is wasted.
