I can only vaguely remember this movie, but I really want to see it again. Right now, though, I can't, so those of you who have seen it: can you tell me about it and refresh my memory??

(Yes, I'm desperate to not write my papers.)

They are remaking this film right now in New Zealand. It is going to be pretty sweet.

Here are some set reports I found you might want to read. Looks like things are going well. I also heard that Brian COx is going to be the voice of Aslan.

I've only read the books and didn't know there was a movie based upon them. Hmm...I'll have to get my hands on it.

There is a movie that was made by the BBC a long time ago that I have seen, but the new monie is coming a year from now.

Is the new movie just about the first story (The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe) or is it more?

I heard they WANT to make them all. And a lot of people are mad that they didnt start with The Magician's Nephew since it's the first book. Their reason for not doing it first is because to READ the book you are supposedly to already know of Narnia through The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe, so why not do the movies the same way. Plus I think it's more well known then Magician, so marketing probably just made them do it like that.

Who knows if it ever gets to making all of them. I guess it depends on if Lion does well. I hope it does...Ive only read the first three and that was when I was 8 or 9 years old, so been a long time.

You absoluttely don't need to read 'LW&W' before 'TMN.' TMN shows the creation of Narnia, and establishes several major characters.

But it's much more marketable.

Of course you dont need to read it, but I just remember reading that as a preface to Magician. Meh who knows. But youre right, marketability all the way. If you wants teh moneys, make something people can go "Oh, heard of that!"

I think the reason they are making L,W,W first is because it is the first book that CS Lewis wrote and it is the most popular. The magician's nephew was written after L,W,W

I read all of them(in whatever number they're ordered in) when I was maybe ten. I'd like to re-read them or read any other books CS Lewis has written.

I didn't know there was an old movie but I've heard some about a new movie being made. I'd go see it.

I remember those movies. And books. I saw/read them all.

I'll always remember that scene with that one boy and the snow queen. She offered him Turkish Delight. I always wanted to know what the fuck Turkish Delight was. Someday, I'll figure it out.

I loved that scene too. I am sure it will be great in the new movie. BTW Turkish delight is a green pistachio flavored taffy rolled in powdered sugar. I have never had it, but always wanted to know what it was also.

I didn't say it was good, I just knew what it was. I will bet there are a lot of people who have read the books, seen the BBC version, and will see the new movie and have no idea what it is.

BTW here is some footage I just found from the production mainly about the weapons. Its pretty bad ass.
