Has anyone every tried the Potato and bacon soup at applebees?

If so, does anyone know how they make that? If been trying to get something together where I can come up with the exact ingredients for that. But its like a really cheesy potato soup. I tried making potato soup and putting cheese in it, but the it came out with too much of a cheese flavor and the potatos weren't as good as when you get it at applebees.

Just like to know if anyone has an idea.

I've never had the potato soup at Applebee's but I have had something similar at O'Charley's that is quite tasty.

Here's (http://www.recipezaar.com/OCharleys-Loaded-Potato-Soup-18599) a copycat recipe that I just found online. I'd say that if you don't like Velveeta "cheese", though, you could substitute some other melted cheese that you do like and end up with something equally delicious.

You could probably make your own for at least 1000 calories less :o
