Hey guys
Right well I really need your help on some hair issues that I have...

I naturally have mousey coloured hair (its horrible, like an off greyish kind of colour which is why I have always dyed it)
I have really really thin hair...
and its thinner because i have dyed it quite a lot recently.

I have had blonde, brown and black hair.
Atm i have black hair but I hate it, and my hair looks really thin and unhealthy. Is this because it's black and you can notice the condition of your hair more??

Therefore im thinking of going back blonde....but I need to get the black out of my hair. Pernament dye was used (it was meant to go dark brown but went black) therefore I have my really light routes coming through..(which doesn't look good next to jet black hair) and brown patches throughout my hair..

I think I have two options......either strip my hair of the black colour then start all over again.. or bleach it.
But I don't know which one will do more damage to my hair anyway??

As I have said, I do want to go back blonde cos my hair did look a lot more healthyier and thicker than it does atm, but I am very very pale skinned, im like completely white. So can anyone suggest a tone of blonde I could go without making myself just look like a walking talking bright light?
Or any other suggestions is good too :D

Thanks.... :pink:

When I used to dye my hair black I just had to wait for like 6 months till I really could do anything with it.
I wouldn't strip it or anything.
Just let it grow for abit maybe..
On your pics you look nice with dark hair, I dont think you should go blonde, maybe for a lighter brown..?

If your hair is already damaged and/or thin going from black to blonde is a really really bad idea. It's really hard to get black out in the first place, in your case it's going to fry it. I wouldn't suggest doing anymore dying for a while. Let it grow out and then you can worry about changing the color.

focusing on your hair color right now should be the least of your worries.. you need to start tending to your hair

^ This and then I think when your hair is in suitable condition. I think you should go for your brown it looks best on you in my opinion. Then go to google and try to find you a hairstyle that you like and will make your thin hair look, more luxurious.

The black hair dye will fade in like a month or two.
I dyed my hair black & freaked and dyed light brown over it... My hair stayed black.
But with time, it did fade and I was able to dye my hair back to its original color.
Right now I think you need to work on getting your hair in better condition, then worry about the color.

This.
If you want the black to fade quicker, try using shampoos like Head & Shoulders. It'll help the colour fade gradually without harming your hair any further.

Buy some tresemme, it did wonders for my hair when i damaged it with dying.
When you dye your hair use the conditioner given and then the tresemme conditioner at the same time.
Get it trimmed aswell.
I think all of the colours suit you but brunette is probably my favourite, or the white blonde.
The black looks nice but it's a bit harsh on your skintone.

If you want to go back to blonde, my advice to you would be to dye your hair in stages. Every few months, dye your hair a couple shades lighter. Dying your hair from black to blonde all at once would completely fry your hair.
