I'm really considering getting a marilyn manson tattoo.
No it's not a faddy thing, it's just a commemoration..
I've liked him/the band since I was 11 or 12 and it's coming up to my 19th birthday.

I was thinking about getting this picture up my left side

(I have blessed on one wrist and cursed on the other). The blessed side has sugary things like unicorns etc.

I think that if you want a picture of him get one of his self portiates that he has panited it would probley be easier to recongize and easier on the artist becasue the pic you have has his tats in it to and could look to cluttered

Okay, for one, chances are if you get a portrait of anyone it's going to end up looking like shit. The fact that he's a celebrity makes the chances of it looking like shit greater because it's not just a random person. Plus, it's going to look really strange to have that on your side. You would be better off getting something to represent Marilyn Manson instead of a portrait.

Pinups come under "old school" American tattoo art, the same as swallows, flaming dice, 8 balls, anchors, and nautical stars. They do indeed mean a lot.

I'm sure Manson means a lot to you. But if he meant enough for you to get a tattoo of him, you wouldn't be asking some internet teenagers their opinion - you'd just be out there getting the tattoo.

The first one has too many of his tattoos in it, and you'd end up in severe pain from all the shading, I'd adivse against it.

Whoever did that sucks at portraits. There are plenty of artists out there that can make amazing looking portraits but unfortunately there are even more that make them look like that.
