Well there's different types of smokey eyes. My favorite is Kim Kardashian, although she can be a little out there on the whore side she's great with her makeup.
http://frappelattes.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/kim-kardashian-eyelashes.jpg

First, Use and Eye Primer so your eyeshadow doesn't get out of place and you wont have raccoon eyes after a while.

Second, start out with a color you like, lets use purple since Kim is wearing it. My favorite shade is a dark purple from the Kat Von D Collection at Sephora. Put the purple on your top eyelid only...

Third, use the color black... NYC has these color pallets that you can buy, it's initially used as an eyeliner but it shows up more. Use that on the outher corner of your eyes... the trick is to blend in an outward V.

Afterwars to make your makeup look more put together, use a liquid eyeliner on your top lid, my best advice is to make it winged.

Then use mascara... I use fake eyelashes like Kim... Whatever way you prefer.

Then use foundation on the bottom lid to make sure any access makeup didn't fall off. :)

And last, here is the most crucial part. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE, do not use and other lip stick except for a nude color. The trick is to balance, if you want you lips to stand out use a red and very little eye makeup. If you want dramatic eyeshadow use a nude color on your lips.

And there you have it. A "Non slutty" smokey eye shadow.

when you say the outward V do you mean like lining the ousides of my eyes like with this shape < > ??

Is there some way to get myself to stop blinking like crazy when I put on eyeliner or mascara?

Also, how would a pale person with dark hair like myself pull off that very red, classic holywood style lip.

For your first question, Try Looking up in the mirror at this angle, you can see more of your lashes and you'd feel more in control.

For your second question, Actually very fair skin is very classic for red lipstick. I actually prefer red lipstick on women with darker hair. If you look up classy women on google, a lot of them have dark hair and red lipstick.
http://www.bibi.org/box/2004/dezembro/ditafree.jpg

First, try to start off with a nude lip. This would look trashy if you have cracked or dry lips so use a toothbrush to take that off. Then use a moisturizer to keep them moist.

Afterwards line your lips with a matching red color... You can actually buy a red lipstick from NYC or Wet and Wild... Just remember you'd have to reapply it.

Now that that is said and done...Do not wear heavy eye makeup. Like i said on the last post it's all about balancing. :)

And in order for this to also work you must have skin without blemishes, if you do simply use concealer and foundation. Red lipstick does but focus on your lips, but it can also draw attention to anything else that's red. :)

Enjoy your look you classy girl! :)

What sort of mascara wand/ mascara in general is best for the lower eyelashes?
I use a normal mascara and I just end up smearing the mascara or clumping it. I also have short-ish lower eyelashes and want to make them stand out more like the top eyelashes.

Well if you have short eyelashes never be afraid of fake ones, but if you are, or don't want to take the time to do them (Like myself on some days). Always use waterproof mascara. My choice would be Cover Girl Professional Waterproof Mascara.

Depends on your skin tone. :)
Every says MAC MAC MAC. It is the safest route...

But I use Revlon.

If you want a completely flawless face use Revlon liquid foundation then a mac face powder on top of it....

 One thing... Liquid eyeliner can be a hassle to put it on the button inner rim. I simply don't deal with it... Use Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner. It will give you the same effect and it's a lot easier.

Good luck. :)

Hai =] I've had this problem with dark circles my entire life, and as you may have guessed - I hate it! I've tried numerous amounts of different makeup but none of them work.
My dark circles literally make me look like a zombie, and you can slightly see the veins.

Is there any makeup that will not look cakey and will stay on for a long time and provide maximum coverage? It'll be a big help!

Thank you =]

This really depends on your skin type. Oily, combination, dry, normal, and sensitive skin all need different types and forms of makeup, so you'll have to give us a bit more info before we can help. Skin, eye, and hair color would help, too.

First of all you are so lucky to have hazel eyes. You can use different colors to bring out different pigments in your eyes. Here are colors you could use.

To bring out the golden rays in your eyes, apply golden based eyeliner.

Choose a brighter green shade such as an emerald color and get the shade in three different intensities, If you want the green to stand out.

To highlight the brown base stick to the natural shades of brown eye shadows.

the best thing to do with a liquid concealer which I'm assuming you used is to use a foundation first and top it off with a powder concealer. Remember, in some cases more expensive isn't always better. :)

blush and bronzer are two totally different things. Although both provide you with a healthy glow. I normally use use the bronzer on the spots the sun will hit you first, then put a blush on the apples of your cheeks.

Alright dark circles... Here's my trick... I put foundation on fist under my eyes. Then I put a powder concealer on. After wards tilt your head, you'll see that its lighter but you could tell its still there.
Then you'll put one more coat of foundation over the concealer. It will be a heavy base so it'll stay on throughout the day.

To actually help to diminish the dark circles, you can get a product called Hylexin. You can get it from major department stores like Macy's or Nordstrom.
Dark circles are visible due to dried blood under you eyes. Because your skin is so fragile and thin under your eyes, it becomes more visible. Hylexin will help to break up the blood and help it disburse and it also moisturizes the area - dry under eyes, makes dark circles more visible.

I've seen a few women do that. I wouldn't advice you to use liquid eyeliner but a pencil seems to work the best. It's the most natural look, the only reason why women don't do it is because they're scared. :) But yes, it is okay as long as you use your OWN pencil.

Thank you by the way.

Depends on your skin type. If your skin is oily of course it's going to crease, and it only causes breakouts if you sleep with it on. :)

But yeah, using the lightest shade.

1. How do I get my eyelashes to stay curled? I curl them once then put on mascara and they won't stay curled during the day :(

2. I don't really know how to apply eyeliner. I put some on the outside corners, and I don't really like using black. I don't want to look trashy when I use it, but I want to look put together.

thanks!
