Would it be weird if I wore a short skirt with tights and boots tommorow at school? The tights are beige, the boots are black, the skirt is a floral pattern and i'm going to wear a really light brown babydoll top with it. Would I look like, way too dressed up for school? :(

I think boots with a skirt look trashy.

It doesn't sound like my cup of tea, but it doesn't sound too dressy either. I used to wear heels to school everyday. There is nothing wrong with looking nice!

I don't get why everyone is so against the outfit- it sounds adorable.

don't wear beige tights...EVER. fashion no no..right now atleast. and that outfit doesnt even make sense to me.

I love skirts and boots. It's not trashy if it's TASTEFUL.

But let's change a few things.. First off, I hate mixing black and brown. Second, get black tights, not beige. Third, the floral skirt sounds kind of odd but I'm probably picturing it wrong.

Maybe post pictures because it's hard to get an idea of what this must look like.


For future refence, a solid colored skirt - like black or even dark denim, with BLACK tights, boots, and a colorful, cute top is a good idea :)
