So, how many of you have tattoos?

Where did you get them done, how long did they take, how much did you pay for them? :cutie:


I'm getting my sidepieces in a week. :eek: Excited.

I have two. The one on my hip only took about 20 minutes.. the one on my back probably took 40 minutes? An hour? Maybe more? I lost track.

The first one was $70 (got it done in India, stuff's way cheaper there), the second was $250.

I just got mine done. It's on my back and go around my hip. It took about 3 hours and cost me 80 bucks.

I have a hummingbird on my right shoulderblade.
I got it done out of state because of my age. ha
It took about an hour.
I paid my artist $100 + $20 tip

My boyfriend has one. He got it done at a local well known parlor. It took about 4 hours, and cost like $400.

a star on my left hip
a star on my right hip- both of the stars took about a half hour or so and 80$
"Live Fast" "Die Pretty" on my forearms - an hour and a half 27 bucks a word so thats 108$
A chest piece thats says "Stay True" - an hour and 15. 175$
stars on my wrists - half hour minutes and 40$
flounder---- from the little mermaid - 2 hours with the shading and 120$
an icecream cone - about 3 hours with the shading and 145$
the nightmare before christmas guy- 4 hours with shading and details 250$

overall i spent over 700.00 on all my tatts. but they were so cheap because my best friends brother does them :]

She's getting them done by a non professional, for dirt cheap.

Why on earth would she have to know who it its? It'll be a blur in 10 years.

I have 3. My uncle done them, he does it a little slower but does it really well. All of mine have taken hours to do. And i have one on my belly one on my arm and one on my neck. Got a 4th in two weeks on my shoulder. Gotta love family discount

I only have one at the moment, but I'm seriously considering a second one.

My first one is two dragons. It's easier to just include a picture than it is to describe it.

I got it done at Texas Body Art and it took about 2-2 and 1/2 hours and cost $200, including tip.

The second one I might get would go on my shoulder blade.
And it's either going to be Nine Inch Nails' "Art is Resistance" flag or a quote.
I haven't decided which yet.

It was a blackwork gecko. It cost about $120 and was excellently done. It took about an hour and a half I think.

Also. I have one tattoo. It's a heart with a scroll around it and inside the scroll it says "R.I.P Mum" Cant remember how long it took. It's on the back of my shoulder. Cost about $120.
But as for the actual place I got it done, Naked Gun 2 in Australia :] I had to go there cause I was underage at the time and they were the only place I knew of who'd do it anyway.

i've got about six or seven, all of which took between an hour and two to complete

had two done in sydney, the rest done in london, cost around £70ph

Mine is Circa Survive album art. It took two and half hours and cost $300. It's gorgeous<3

I have a viper coming out of a lotus flower smoking a newport on my left arm. (2 1/2 hours, and $200)

i have the Dark Lotus cross on my right calf (1 hour and $120)

i got 216 4 life across my knuckles (1 hour and $75)(most painful i might add)

and the Nightmare Before Christmas DVD cover scene from my neck to my lower back (6 sessions (so far) and total its cost me about $1200)

once thats finished, im getting my symbol (EKG heartbeat on my forearm with "FlatLine" at the end. (should take around an hour and cost about $130)

All done in Cleveland at All Tattoos.

2. Unicorn up my side. - Free (i cant remember how long)
3. Blessed on one wrist. £28 (30 min)
4. Cursed on the other. £28 (30min)
5. A big bow on my lower back. £35 (an hour the guy was super quick)

I have a "luck o' the irish" tattoo on my upper arm. 5 hours and $720, but totally worth it. =]

I have 3. All of them were done by my apprentice friend so I didn't have to pay.
