If i get a virgin mobile phone can i just get prepaid montly texting for a low fee without paying for minutes? i have alltel prepaid and its an 80 dollar phone but if i dont use it for like 2 months i have to pay more.

i have virgin mobile, and yeah it does suck, but i can't afford anything else.

you can do a monthly plan, which is what i do. you pay 10 dollars for unlimited texting, and $24.99 for like 200 minutes and 500 night and weekend. you can only have this plan with a credit or debit card.

or you can just do a twenty dollar unlimited text plan with virgin mobile prepaid cards.

all i have to say is that the phones suck, (mine breaks every few months) and that the service is bad (i have to resend my texts multiple times, because they don't send for some reason).

the overall customer service is crappy, and they don't really help at all, by the way it takes FOREVER to call them and talk to a real person.

if you're paying 80 dollars with alltell, you might as well just get at&t, verizon, or t-mobile. it's like 40 or 50 dollars a month, and its MUCH better service.
