I'm thinking about getting a snakebite..err...lip ring. I really don't know the difference lol i'm a complete noob and i only have like this one little stud on my left ear, if you see really, really hard on my profile pic.

Anyway, i'm gonna ask a no0b question but where do i get a lip ring done? Could i do get it done in a tattoo parlor? How much does it usually costs depending on the ring?

I've been thinking of doing this for months now so...err...help?

Okay a snake bite, I believe, is two studs under your bottom lip around where your K-9s would be.

Tattoo parlours generally have piercing studios as well. Do a lot of research into the studio. Try to go to one that's recommened by a few people, go for a look first, talk to the staff and check out the cleanliness.

Oh, and I'd recommend having it done with a labret stud, as they're generally better for healing. You could change it to a ring later.

AH see snakebites is two piercings, each side mirror to each other. Usually with rings. If you get ANY lip piercing and you want a ring in it make sure ti is a SEGMENT RING not a BCR as well the ball ruins the look. Only some people can pull off BCR in middle, it usually looks better with segment ring.

Not all peole suit snakebites, some people then look too lower lip heavy and it ruins rather then improves the face.
