I never saw the original but this one looks really intense and Keanu Reeves looks good in it.

it looks pretty cool, but I dont think the "Hey there's aliens, but neither of us are killing each other" premise will do to well for today's audience

Keanu is perfect for the role...though I am a loyal lover of the original I think this will be pretty good.

I saw the original in a really old theater that got torn down :cry: and I got Patricia Neal's autograph in person, cause she was there. OMG she was really old, she had a bunch of people helping her walk and stuff. Her hand was really shaky, too. It's kinda sad to think about, but she was so nice! And way back when, she was really pretty.

I'm just glad I have a little piece of something special! :)

From the previews of the remake, it looks like they've fucked up the basic plot of the movie really.
I'm kind of disappointed and iffy on it.
I won't make any definite decisions on it until I've seen it though.
If I go to see it.
