ok, at my high school and in my city (st.louis) there are really big trends with wearing bracelets that say things like hope lives (for breast cancer) and livestrong (lance armstrong bracelets) and then until there's a cure (another breast cancer one) and even one for the cardinals. i have heard that there are onces that are ones that are clear, one for purple (for locks of love) one for diabetes (max life) and then even one that is multi colored for lots of other cancers. if you have heard of these and know where to get them or they are a big trend in your town, let me know!!!!! thanx everyone...also, what kinda trends go on at your high schools or in your towns, like birkenstocks and north face pouches and a lot of others things...let me know!!! :typing:

i used to wear the LiveStrong one this summer, but then i stopped becasue EVERYONe at school started wearing them.

yea we have sex bracelets too. i wear one of them because it's cute. i got it before everyone else started wearing them and before i knew what they even meant. lol

Um, those bracelets serve a different purpose then for being 'trendy'.

I dont like bracelets. I don't like wearing jewellery altogether.

Alot of the permiership footballers and some in the crap leagues below it wear the yellow lance armstrong bracelets as it's the politicaly correct thing for them to do at the moment.

The Birkenstocks are HUGE here, everyone has them... and for some really stupid reason there is this whole trend of wearing Leg Warmers with heels and a miniskirt... some people can pull it off, but on some its just awful. but mainly, everyone is just the average competing for who has the most expensive T-shirt crew.

People here have these jackets that are so short you wonder how they fit into them, also mini skirts in which people can see your ass are big.

You know what's funny? I live 10 minutes away from St. Louis.

St. Charles Highschool.

All the "punks" and "gothics" wear bracelets. And emo kids.

Everybody at my school wears those LiveStrong bracelets. I've never seen or heard of where to get them besides off the internet. I don't really care to know, either.

I figure, if you buy the bracelet even if you don't do it to drectly support its cause, your money still partially goes to the foundation for cancer or diabetes or AIDS or what have you. So as long as it ends up helping, I don't care if they buy it for fashion or not.

the leg warmers are big here too. girls and guys are starting to pop their colar like in the 80's or whenever. it's ok but the stereotype is that only the "popular" kids are allowed to do it. i don't know it's werid

really short pleated skirts are big here. It's like everyone's walkin around in skirts that if the wind blows u see their asses. The sex bracelet trend is really over here. it kinda got old. Everyone is wearing Birks or fake birks too. I don't really understand it b/c I just think that they're ugly. I'm also really tired of seeing people wearing something that totally doesn't work for them just b/c it's the style! I just want to tell them to be there own person!

I don't know if you live in England or not but I do and in my area they are called shag bands. Well thats if there the luminous looking ones and if you break them depending on the colour you have to do different things e.g. give a blow job, shag someone etc.

yea we have those, but those aren't the livestrong ones. they are the sex bracelets. but i don't think that you have to break it, i think you have to take it off.

in my skool the charity and sex bandz were the biggest craze goin around! i have about 150 sex bands and 5 charity bands. all the charity band s have things ritten on dem dat iz really important to me so i weren't just going along wid da craze and i love the sex bands they are cool!

At my school a lot of things are in, those braclets, sex braclets, wrist bands etc. My school even started selling them, these red and white ones that say Canada on them... I think everyone bought one... some people even bought like 10. You can find them at acsesorie stores, like Claires, Spencers, Ardenes etc.

I have a lot of the black jelly bracelets, I don't care if people call me slutty because of them, it was some horny bastard with way too much time on his hands, and probably some crack up his nose that started it all anyway. I wear a black wikkid braclet, and two hot topic braclets. I think its a great way to make money. I also have one from the Harry Potter book premire at borders, but its in my memory box.
