could anyone guess the reason i might not be able to have it on the NHS?
i think it's something to do with scarring.

and how much does it cost privately?

I think that the reason they don't do it on the NHS is because it's a vanity thing, not a health thing.

Although if you can convince them that's it's causing you psychological distress - they might do it. I know a girl who got one that was right in the middle of her chin removed, because people were giving her stick for it.

Or unless it's possibly cancerous. Then they would remove it, to do a biopsy.

Not sure how much it is privately, sorry.

i went to the doctor's about it but they didn't even check it.
if it was a normal looking mole, i could understand.
but it's actually BLACK.
my doctor didn't seem at all concerned by it, just said i might have to have it done privately.
she also said that i'd be left with a scar, and my response was that i would rather a scar.
i heard they won't/don't like to do it on the NHS because it's on my face and would scar, but i'm fine with that so...?
