Most "home" remedy's never work. And don't waste your money buying a kit/system like proactive. All you have to do to get rid of your acne is buy a deep cleaning mask, some 10 percent benzoyl peroxide, and a face wash.

1. Use the face wash as soon as you wake up, and right before bed.
2.Use the deep cleaning mask somewhere in the afternoon, or when you feel your skin is the oiliest.
3.Apply the benzoyl peroxide before bed and whenever else convenient.

Do NOT miss a day on the benzoyl peroxide, that's the most important thing. At first you wont see much result but in a week your acne will start to go away. I used to have moderate acne on my cheecks 3 to 4 pimples on each side. I followed the routine and now my face is clear. Commitment is the key, just stick to the routine and you will get rid of your acne.

I always put it on right before I take a shower, so that way I can get it all over and then it washes off easy. :D

Breakouts on the sides of your face is hormonal and stress...
and honestly the best remedy is the pill or another form of medication that balances your hormones.

Why so cheap? Home remedies don't work that well, and you don't exactly have to buy Proactiv or anything, just get a tube of 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream for acne from a drugstore and after washing your face, apply it to the areas that you have acne. Btw, products with salicylic acid don't really work, I've tried it in the past.
