I was just wondering if any girls here (or anyone who is good with colors and fashion) could help me with "fashion."

I am not really good at deciding what to wear, but i would like to know what colors go well with each other and what colors don't go well with each other. Can someone please tell me some general advice about fashion? I really don't know anything at all :(

Thank you :)

Black and white matches with everything. The top should always be lighter than the bottom. Jeans match with anything.

jeans go with any kind of top and any kind of shoes.long sleeves and 3/4 sleeves go better with jeans or pants.tight jeans are better than baggy jeans, but they shouldnt be so tight that you cant move in them.if you have on dark jeans wear a light colored top.

There are no real "rules" to fashion, but there are ways to make it work out in your favor!

1) If your bottom is looser, wear a more form-fitting top.. and vice versa; if you wear a loose flowing top make it work with slimmer pants/skirt/shorts!

2) Try not to look TOO dark, or too light. I find the same rule applies with color.. Dark top = lighter bottom-half, dark top = lighter bottoms.

3) As for color, I find dusty roses, purples, ivories, and light greens look flattering on just about everyone. Red accentuates features while black minimizes them, so use that to your advantage!

4) Match your hair with your outfit! A beautiful flowing dress can be ruined by a shabby ponytail!

5) My favorite pairing is a simple dress with a pretty cardigan, and an accessory like a lightweight scarf or delicate necklace.

6) SHOES ARE IMPORTANT! Invest in a few good pairs of sandals(NOT flip-flops), boots, and flats. I find Steve Madden and Dolce Vita have a great selection of all of these.

7) ACCESSORIZE! Scarves, belts, necklaces.. you can wear black every day and still look stunning with the right accessories! Go for intricate, interesting scarves (i.e. lace, tassels, colors, patterns). Varied necklaces, get a few in silver and gold, with eye-catching charms. Belts: high-waisted belts are very flattering as they pull you in at your slimmest point.

8) TIGHTS! Many a day has been saved by a nice pair of tights. Sheer lavender, silver, black, and patterned are all a low key-way to spice up an outfit. The best part is you can wear them with almost ANYTHING! Dresses, skirts, shorts..

9) Makeup! Do NOT do your makeup the same every day. Vary it with your outfit. If you are looking very delicate, don't load up on the eyeliner, and instead ficus on sweet rosy cheeks and lips. Get red and pink lip stains, as they will be an instant re-vamp as the rest of your makeup wears off during the day. Don't overdo the mascara.. nobody looks good with chunks in their lashes! Even if you aren't planning on wearing a colored eyeshadow, use a natural-color, as it really does help.

10) Use a GOOD chapstick! Plain old original chapstick is still around because it WORKS! For a sweet dewy look I've found Vaseline squeeze-tube chapstick works well, and the cherry flavor is delicious!

Hope I've helped, and good luck!
