I have no idea about shoes and fashion. Gimme some shoe advice :) I tend to dress real preppy like - American Eagle, Bootlegger, etc. What shoes should I get?

Globes... I haven't had a pair of not globe shoes for like 4 years... Pfft not exactly 'preppy' though...

I had Globes 2 or 3 years ago, for skateboarding. Then I found out I sucked. So I sold them to a kid at school for 50 bucks.

Globes are the only shoes that fit me properly, because I have really wide feet. So it's either really retarded shoes or skate shoes. And in Australia the cheapest skate shoes to get are globes.

I can skate in any shoes the same though.

I just wear my flip flops till they wear through, and in the 2 months (if that) of winter I wear the same pair of tennis shoes I've had since I was in 8th grade. I don't think I could help you. :shrug:

I'd love to wear my sandals year round (they seriously kick ass and are so comfortable) but I don't think my toes would last long in -40 weather ;) (yes, it got that cold here last year... up to -60 with the windchill)

i like Diesels, by the way.

i can't find a pic of their casual ones, but they're most plain white, kinda similar to the adidas ones going round years ago. i prefer them over skater shoes because they're not so chunky, i hate chunky. and they can be dressed up, also.

they have a more dressy range too, which are more edgy. i found plenty of those when i put "diesel shoes" into a google image search.

but i dunno what's popular where you are..

Chuck Taylor's (converse) are pretty comfortable. So are Vans.
