Can anyone recommend a good primer for use before foundation.
At the moment I use Smashbox but if there are any others that you find are good please tell me :)

Lolz, you really don't need spf 540.

I would suggest using the same brand primer as your foundation.

I used Bare Escentuals: Prime Time primer and I love it.

whats wrong with smashbox? I use it and it works wonders on my skin ^^

I also use smashbox. I don't use the foundation they gave me, though, since it's a bit too dark for my skin.
If you like smashbox and it works well for you, you shouldn't need to change it.

MAC prep+prime spf 50 works MUCH better than the original
smashbox primer in light is good too
