My washer, has a very strong...detergent smell. Like very strong. And when I wash, that smell gets on my clothes. I can't get a new washer right now, I'm just wondering if there is anyway to get that smell out of my clothes once I'm done(blowing a fan on it etc?)

Doesn't detergent usually smell good? I don't see how it is such a problem.

The smell is within the washing machine. Not using any more detergent won't do anything.

That's unpossible.

Obviously, you need to address the smell within your washing machine. You can try running an empty wash on hot with a few cups of white vinegar to combat the smell. It just seems strange to me that it would smell of detergent. Detergent is designed to rinse away clean. Perhaps you should change the detergent you're using? Or, maybe there's something wrong with your washer?
