My grandmother, who lives in San Luis, has the most fragrant, beautiful, perfect backyard garden. That's a big one. Other than that, any library was pretty solid.

3. What do you do for fun? What fascinates you?

Stories fascinate me to no end. How they're made, how they affect us, why they're important. I love to read and write and read. I like people. Other than that, for fun, I generally play football, paintball, or hang out with friends. We don't plan many events, and we're poor anyway, so hanging out and making each other laugh is pretty much the way to go.

4. What would be the perfect job for you?

In all honesty, staying home and being mailed a check every week would rate pretty high for me. But no, writing would be the only "job" I'd be happy at.

The fact that I'm mostly pretty good about sticking to my morals. I'm proud that I am trying to make a difference in the world.

Living abroad? Perhaps, but all the places I'd be remotely comfortable living in would have to be somewhat like America, as arrogant and American as that sounds. But really, I love it here in San Antonio.

I live with my stepfather, who raised me longer. I love him very much. Not that I don't love my birth father, but he lives in Idaho and my memories of him are fading fast.

No. They put me on Paxil when I was 14, which was stupid, and I haven't been on it in forever. I'm actually freakishly paranoid about anything prescribed to me.
