Hello, I have recently gotten my severe acne under control. However, it has left me with some nasty scars. I've heard of some "Chemical Peel" that's soposed to help, but I cant find anything. Any ways to get rid of these scars w/out clogging my poors? If nothing else, just to remove the redness.

translation:
a scar is basically new skin that your body improvises on wounds.

after a while, your acne scars will wear off. if your scars are really that noticable, they'll take a lot of time for healing. the only way they'll disappear completely is with surgery, which is a little extreme for just a couple of spots on your face, don't you think?

eh, I guess. I'm just trying to excape the "Ugly zone." (Thats where I'm at in school =/ ) I worry about all these things.

confidence is more important than looks at this stage in your life. and being self-conscious about a few spots (really, it's not that bad) is not going to heighten your self-esteem.

A chemical peel is a bit extreme - your scars are really not as bad as you think they are.

Your cars aren't as bad as you think.. they'lll go away.

You need to get rid of your acne before you think about a deep peel for scars.
