Lynch was only a student in film school when he directed this. AND on an extremely low budget. He had to keep putting it on hold, because he kept running out of money. And this is his best film by far. Not just that, but one of the best film's EVER made. I could talk about it all day.

because A: post modernism is needless and B: eraserhead is so far up it's own ass it manages to be post-post-modern.

I tried watching it once at about four in the morning. About halfway through I realized I wouldn't be able to stay up, so I turned it off and went to bed.

Needless to say, messed up dreams ensued.
