ok i want to get blonde highlights...so i would be kind of blonde but not really...cause i kinda want to die my hair blonde but i dont want to do it all at once or anything and i might not like it so i guess this is a good way to do it gradually

do they dry your hair out a lot???? i used to have them but i dont really remember......

They can do it all at once. All they do is put the highlights in foil and dye the rest a different color. My cousin did my streaks that way. They came out great. Are you planning on doing them at home or getting them professionally dyed?

It will dry out somewhat. It's common to use conditioner after you rinse it out so it won't be so dry.

They shouldn't dry your hair out, but its best not to use bleach.

honestly it all depends on YOUR hair. I dye my hair ALL platinum blonde with bleach and it is fairly long and still in amazing condition...not dry or straw like at all. On the other hand my sister got golden highlights and they seemed to dry her hair out quite a bit. I would talk to a professional...they can assess your individual hair condition and make the best judgment. If you hair is in good condition, blonde highlights should not damage the hair...and like another post said always use a good deep conditioner!
