Which acne medication worked for you? Proactive? Clean & Clear? Differin? Neutregena? There's so many out there so which ones actually WORK? Which one worked & which have you tried didn't do anything at all?

I had really bad break outs at times, and this shit right here http://www.obagi.com/article/forpatients/obagiclenzidermmd/clenziderm.html
did wonders for my face. I rarely ever break out any more, and my face is basically all clear.
but you have to use it every day. Sometimes twice a day if you're feeling extra acne.
It's basically magic in a bottle. It's 130 dollars, but it's worth every penny.
It's 3 steps just like proactive, but it works so much better. I used proactive for a while, but it didn't work. Nothing really worked. But this is amazing. After a month or so, you'll be very clear. I promise.

I use a combo of different stuff currently.
What I'm doing seems to work real well.
I don't really have a lot of acne.
Just the greasy/oily skin and the occasional spots.
I use Clean & Clear Blackhead Scrub in the shower.
Then after the shower I use step 2 and 3 of Proactive. (the face wash for Proactive dries my face out)
At bedtime I wash my face with soap and water. I use Dove soap.
If I wear makeup I use Clinique make-up remover to take it off.

I use T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel toner, that keeps my skin fresh and clear of pimples.
I also use a moisturiser and an SPF tinted moisturiser to protect my skin.

I use the Clinique 3-step type thing, except I finished the lotion a while ago, so I'm just using the face wash and clarifying lotion, and no breakouts for me.

I usually use an Avon cleansing gel every so often. Not every day because it overdries my face.
I've never had bad acne...a couple pimples here and there, but nothing major.
Soap and water works...really.
After work/runs I usually use OXY gel so my face doesn't feel so greasy and sweaty.
I use a Dove SPF 15 daily moisturizer.

I've heard Noxema works good, I haven't tried it yet though. My cosmetology teacher told me she's used it since she was thirteen, and she's now like.. thirty something.

I've been using proactiv for about a month and it has really cleared up my skin. I read that it can dry out your face quite a bit but I don't really seem to have that problem. At least not yet anyway.

I use the Clinique 3-step system and it works very nicely. When ever I take a shower (usually every other day) I use St Ive's apricot scrub for acne prone skin.
At night I use Clinque Dramatically Different moisturizer and in the morning I just use Aveeno face sun lotion (spf 30)

I used to have really bad acne, like forrealz. The biggest thing I found to help was drinking a lot of WATER. That helped a bunch.
And I wash my face every single night with Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleanser. However, I just recently ran out of it and switched to Biore Revitalize 4-in-1 Self-Foaming Cleanser... I'm pleased with teh entire biore line so I'd recommend any of them (:

Everything varies from person to person. Can you honestly say that your skin is the same as anyone here? You'd be better off asking your parents about what they used to wash their faces back when they were young, a lot of those brands still exist if they were any good. I can tell you though 98% of all the face washes are pretty much the same. It's the good ones that skip all the perfume, colors and additives that really do their job.

i used to have SUCH bad acne, and its pretty much cleared up. i use the nuetragena body wash and then st ives apricot scrub when im in the shower, then when i get out, i have a special prescribed cream from my doctor called benzaclin, so if u have insurance thats a really good way to go, by asking ur doctor. also always wash ur face atleast every night, i use a pad, like oxy, anything but strydex basically. dont wash ur face in the morning before u put on ur make-up becuz that washes out natural oils that prevent cover-up from clogging pores. when u choose foundation and lotion, get something thats hyperalleginic, oil-free, and non-coanagenic(sp) which means it wont cause pimples. i use TLC by almay and it works the best of any ive used. i use oil of olay for lotion, but if thats too pricey, the store brand that is compared to it should work.
hope i helped some.
