I've still got a lot of baby weight from my pregnancy.
I am a UK size 14/16 ... Although, I'm on a strict diet... I only have a month to lose as much weight as I can. I am aware that I'm not exactly gonna lose a stone or something in a month. I'm being realistic.
But, I need to buy a new dress ... What style would suit my current shape best? .. =/ I know not to go for clingy dresses ... But ... I'm not entirely sure.
Also, what colour would suit me in your opinion? (Pics on profile).

Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

Colorwise maybe a dark rich green.

I don't really know much about cuts but maybe something knee length, with a square or scooped neckline and capped sleeves.

Well I'm not bothered with showing off some leg.. I quite like my legs ;].

It's more ... To like, hide my stomach, if that makes sense?

a wrap dress is good for protruding stomachs

black = it will hide you tommy a bit
vertical lines = it makes you love tall and somewhat slim

= wrap dress will kinda do
idk -i learnt this in c&t

So.. A black vertical striped dress would make me look a bit taller and a bit slimmer d'ya reckon?

black is classic, but if you want to be different ,and even a little summery maybe like a dark plum color, something that cuts either just above or just below your knee and something with a band under your bust which will excentuate the smallest part of your waist , what would the dress be for?

Well my waist is pretty small.
Um, like, for going out in?
Slightly posh, but not too posh.
Like, say you could wear it for going to a resteraunt ... But then could also wear the same dress (Yes, I can't afford to buy a new dress every single time I go out ;]) if you were just going out with your mates or something?

exactly what I said , find something that has maybe even a band on the bottom if under your bust doesnt work , if your going out just add heals , with your friends wear flats or something,

An A-line dress.

And I used to like black dresses, but they're not fun, they're drab, and they're unoriginal. Emerald green would look stunning.

Thank you :)

Would Emerald green suit me, though?

that is a perfect dress. Go for things that have that sort of concealment at the tummy.

Well I have a pretty small waist (Not really small... like, average sized?) and rather large boobs.
Would that dress suit that, then? (I'm not very clued-up with dresses, sorry =/)

Also, any other suggestions on colour?

yeah that dress should be fine it has thick enough straps to conceal bra straps so you should have plenty of support. Keep in mind if you are trying on dresses wear the shoes that you want to wear with it. Heels provide you with different posture so your body appears different.

Thank you! ^_^

But argh, should I stick to just simple black then? I mean, you can't go wrong with black?

I suggested green specifically beause I thought it would look beautiful on you. <3 Or apricot.
But sure, you can't go wrong with black.

Aw! Thank you :) .. What about white, though .. 'Cause I've seen a really nice dress in white?

I mean, there aren't a lot of nice shades of green around ... Plus, I can't find any nice green dresses :(

a short white dress might work
if it fits up top near the breast,
but comes out flowy at the bottom.

but be careful it doesn't look too
much like a nightgown.
if it has a black strap right under
the breats, that might work out. and it will draw eyes up.
