Okay I realize these two shows are completely unrelated but I wanted to settle something.
I asked a friend what she thought of the recent episodes of Greek. She replied by saying that they were "ok, but it's a stupid show" and then said, "OMG have you seen ugly betty lately? That show is awesome!"

I'm not sure whether she was trying to insult me or that she actually thinks that Ugly Betty is a better show than Greek when it is the most ridiculous and unrealistic thing I have ever seen. At least Greek has a little realism, however little that may be. I admit that Greek is every bit as trite as Ugly Betty but I still think it is much better in comparison based on realism and entertainment value.

Does anyone agree/disagree?

Okay, could you tell me why? I haven't actually seen Ugly Betty since after a few episodes into the first season. I just got a little annoyed with the characters and forgot to watch it. Maybe it is better but I saw an episode more recently and it seemed more like a kids show with adults instead of teenagers, maybe that episode was just a bit more silly than usual, I don't know.

It just annoyed me that she insulted my choice of tv and then pumped up her own idea of good entertainment.
