Horrible, the books are funny and over the top and don't bore you.
The show loses it's humor, turns into a PG/ OC (Duh since it involves the same director...) that is merely Gossip Girl by name than actual characters.
I still watch it though, it is a guilty pleasure because it does have that flash-in-a-pan brillance in some moments, but on a scale of one to ten, it sucks.

She has her own book series now, The It Girl, so it wouldn't suprise me.
I'd watch it, even though I hate the girl who plays her.

Chuck is funny to anyone with good humor maybe even more so to guys
And its easy to start watching it and get hooked just like One Tree Hill
I have guy mates that paid me out for loving these shows, then one day they came over and One Tree Hill was on, they really didnt have any choice but to watch, now they ask if im gonna put it on.
people shouldnt decide the hate something because they either saw about a minute of it where it was focused on some girly issue, or they just follow the stereotype.

i love the show and i love the books....i like the show doesnt follow the books though, that way it isnt predictable
