It's about a gifted girl (God's child or something)? Her mother gives her up right at birth to her sister or something. Later on the devil comes into the mother's life and tells her to get her daughter back, so she does. This girl is still a little girl, but knows what's going on.
Two scenes I remember:
Devil says some kind of chant and convinces this homeless guy to pour gasoline all over himself. The little girl rushes to his side, gives him a cross necklace and says something like, "he hasn't forgotten about you". The devil says, Oh god. And throws the lighter at the bum.
The devil takes the little girl up to the rooftop and tells her to decide. If she believes in God, she should jump and ask him to save her. If she believes in HIM, she should take his hand. He talks about how HE'S real and you can actually see his hand. She smiles, sits on the ledge and says, "after you."
This was a really good movie even though I only saw it once....I want to watch it again SO BADLY!
