Will my hair turn to straw if I bleach out the black? I want blond hair but I'm afraid because I just re dyed it black, and it's starting to look eaten up. I'm an idiot and didn't even think about it before I dyed it... But if I do bleach it, can I still save my hair?

Put treatments in it regularly, and things to make it healthier such as conditioners to leave in, and protectors for hair straightening.

Do that for a week, bleach it. It will turn into an orange colour, not a pleasant colour. Then to restore your hair put a few treatments in it.

After another week or two, bleach it again. It should go a white blonde this time, and after a few days again with restoring it's health get a actual hair dye and dye it the colour you want.


As long as you keep restoring your hair and take extremely good care of it, maybe don't straighten it for a few days to take stress off, your hair should be fine.
