So, Yesterday i went tanning, and i sweat off the lotion.
i got sunburnt all along my backside.
i was reading up and heard that vinegar and shaving cream work well,
and something about tea baths?
I use Aloe Vera Gel, and it doesnt work for more than 8 mintues.
I'm going on a beach trip on monday and need the burn gone or at least the pain relieved.
if anyone knows a good remedy to get rid of the burn/ pain.
please help.!
thanks :(

Umm, it won't help now but anti-innflamataries can reduce the damage if taken early. Using them too much however, is just like disrupting any bodily function for a prolonged period is not a good idea.
Forget too much creams. Just make sure your skin doesn't dry out, and don't think you can get rid of the damaged skin straight away. New stuff has to grow underneath it first.
P.S. Melenoma's aren't sexy. Remember that for next time :)

The best thing is yogurt. Just try it!

If you sweat off the lotion, try putting it on before you get to the salon. That way it has time to settle in.
But, just because your lotion sweated off doesn't mean you should have gotten burnt. You were probably in there too long.

Natural yogurt's a lifesaver when you've just done it and it really hurts, as is having a tepid (lukewarm) shower, as the water takes the heat away from your burn, so that's a good relief. Aloe Vera's great, use it during the day and before you go to bed lather on a few layers of aqueous cream just to stop flakiness.
