The colors will fade quickly and then it will just look bad but it is a cool dye job

I dye my hair like that(not exact) all the time, i suggest you dye your hair the basic brown and blonde, then get extensions, if they're too long cut them.
But if you do end up dying definately don't do it yourself, even if you are good at hilighting/dying hair it'll fade in about a week, but if its professionally done it'll prly be around $100 depending on where you go, but it'll last from 1-3 months. Depending on the dye and how long its in, etc.
You best bet is the extensions.(:

I know where you can get them for like 40-50 dollars instead of like 80, if you plan on doing that instead.

probably a no.
fading/colors bleeding into each other makes it a no.
but if you really want to do it, you'll do it anyways.

well, they're less of a hassle if you ask me, you can style them, then put them in, its much easier, plus they look really god when you tease your hair then put them in AND they're not too hard to put in(:

those colors only come as demi-permanent.
and weave probably would be less of a hassle.
