Hey

I shave with an electric razor, but that takes forever to do my sideburns (i keep them thin and pointy like a line till a bit below my ear).

So what i do now is, i shave all around my face (except sideburns) with the electric razor, and then i take a double blade disposable razor and stroke sideways along my sideburns to keep them shaped like how my barber does it.

I was just wondering if this is ok to do? Like it wont cause the hair to grow sideways or anything will it?

you can shave any direction as long as your gentle. if not it might irritate the skin. but its not going to cause any damage.

you can shave any which way you please dear. it's just that going against the grain can irritate and cause ingrown hairs more.
