Im going on a huge shopping trip in three weeks and am having trouble trying to work out what I need.
I have a wardrobe full of clothes but its not very well thought out.
None of it goes together!
Mainly because I buy things without thinking about what they will go with and where I will wear them.
I always end up wearing jeans and something.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Some advice on wardrobe basics would be really helpful.
Or just some general wardrobe advice?
What clothes do you wear on a regular basis?

Stuff that could be useful....
Some boot-cut jeans that actually fit.
A pencil skirt.
A black suit but with a skirt not trousers (for my work experience and funerals)
Plain t-shirts, vest tops, tank tops in various colours.
Couple of plain hoodies
A thin cardigan for spring/summer
A few plain jumpers
Some sensible bras that wont show under clothes
Waist belt
A few skinny belts
A big bag to fit all the junk I carry around
Opaque tights without ladders
Denim Shorts
A pair of flat shoes
A dress to wear to weddings
Thats all I can think of

Spring essentials:
-Light cardigans
-Cropped jacket
-Jeans (either skinny, wide leg or boot cut, your pick)
-Flats
-A nice rain coat
-Thin tee's and long-sleeve shirts to layer with
-Casual day dress

I'd also get:
-A nice pair of heels that you can dress up or down
-LBD
-Blazer or cropped jacket
-Short skirt, preferably in florals because those are very big this year
-Gladiator sandals! Very in.
-Some graphic tee's like at UrbanOutfitters.com
-A gauzy shirt with an interesting neckline

But sure sounds good.

tanks in black brown grey white and brown

Cardigans in black grey and brown

Staples in any wardrobe because anything goes with them and you will find yourself wearing them all the time.

every girl should have the classics and with the classics you can do a whole lot!

- Fitted jacket- Maybe a nice cardi in black instead of a fitted jacket if you dont like them..
- White blouse/shirt
- Black pantsuit/ black knit pants- skinny,bootcut etc(whatever suit your ody type)
- the perfect little Black dress
- Flats
- Some say a tutle neck jumper/shirt... but I duno or instead a Black Cotton scoop neck
- Opaque stockings.
- Black or grey skirt of some type, pencil for this season esp
- Leather handbag-goes with everything
- Boots (duno about that one for america though... coz its summer their aint it?)

Dont forget your cardi and a little black dress... its good for a night out, wedding or funeral!!
