for some people it hurts, and others it doesn't. It just depends on your pain tolerance.
For me, it didn't hurt at all.

Just on top. They freeze it so ya don't feel a thing. It just hurts a tiny bit afterwards for a few days when ya move just until ya get used to it.

trust me bellybutton piercings dont hurt and that's the same to all piercings

Depends on your pain tolerance. First time, I was in pain for a few hours. Laid in bed. Second time, I thought I was going to die on the chair, pooped two vicodin, and was in pain (as in couldn't walk or move) for a few hours. Second time was a reverse navel...that's suppose to hurt more or something?

I did mine myself (stupid I know)
It didn't hurt while I was doing it and only slightly for about an hour afterwards.
The only time it hurt after that was when I laid on my belly or left it out for too long.
Now its perfectly fine. =]

I didn't think it hurt at all. I just hated seeing the needle first it freaked me out a tad.

Mine didn't hurt to get done. I regret having got it done though.
