Do tongue piercings hurt? And how long does it take before you can talk properly again ? :D

The actual piercing isn't that bad...
Mine didn't swell at all...
I was talking fine within ten minutes of getting it done...
I think I just cope well with stuff though, cos I was also eating hard foods with 24 hours and I went on a week long alcohol bender the night I got it done...
And it was all fine...

Most people are on liquids for weeks and can't drink for about two weeks...

the piercing itself, i bairly felt, but my tongue was pretty pissed for about two weeks after.

the talking right depends...i found that it wasn't the swelling that made me talk funny, but the hunk of metal in my mouth. i had to learn how to talk around the bar.
