basically my eyelashes stick out instead of curling upwards..

no matter how much i curl them they just drop straight back down again after a minute or two.

any suggestions?

Heat your eyelash curler up with a hairdryere before using it....
Clamp down on the lashes for 10 seconds but when I say clamp, I MEAN clamp!
And apply mascara 30 seconds after curling them...

go to a salon and get your eyelashes permed

try different mascaras. I find max factors master piece max holds my eyelashes better than any other i have tried. Give differents ones a go.

they're going straight because you're heating them so much. if the ends are going light too, your eyelashes need some SERIOUS TLC which doesn't include mascara/ eyelash curlers/ excessive heat. Use vaseline if you really have to use mascara.

of course, if you want the bald eye, 1cm long eyelash look by the time you're 30, by all means, go for it ;)

Eyelashes are going to replace themselves long before a few years is up. No matter what you do to them, they fall out and grow back every 6 or so weeks.

try heating up your curler for about 10 seconds with a blow dryer beforehand. trust me, it works.

but i thought eyelashes replaced themselves pretty quickly:rolleyes:

They do, but its the same with hair. If it falls out its normally for a reason and it doesn't always grow back...

Try a different mascara maybe? But curling isn't very likely to make them fall out... Just make sure its not tooo hot. But you could try some of those heated curling things. Don't know what they're like though :shrug:

You could try curling them after applying mascara.
As long as you wait until its totally dry and do it very carefully.

You can do that? Wtf, never heard of it b4.

I apply a thin coat of mascara first..then curl..then more mascara.. I kinda like roll the brush round as im applying it.. if that makes sense!
