My face is breaking out. I don't know if it's stress, weather change, or dirt, but it's getting on my nerves. I've tried Proactiv and almost all of the Neutrogena and Clean&Clear products, needless to say, they don't work for me. I was wondering if facials are any good. My face is really sensitive and gets easily swollen, so I don't know if I should restrain from the facial...?
Any advice?

I've never had one, but I heard it's just popping your pimples in a sterile environment, i dunno if that's going to prevent more breakout, or just get rid of the pimples you have at the moment.

it depends what you kinda of facial you get. I would suggest talking to who ever is giving you your facial about what you don't like about your skin and what you want them to improve. They have so many products that you should be able to find the perfect facial for you.

My sister believes you need to let your skin adjust to products. How long did you try those products for?? Sometimes it can take 6 weeks.
I think i have hormonol break outs. But in a way I have the same problem as you. I am going to try get to a dermatoligist sometime this week coz of back acne too.
Gosh skin can be a pain huh?

I had a facial once when I had realy realy bad skin and it helped loads I didnt have breakouts for like 3 4 months. BUt you have to be careful esp. with your sensitive skin.

You say you have sensitive skin... neutgrogena and proactiv is not realy for sensitive skin... Maybe you should try clean and clears new sensitive skin range... or Cetaphil is great they have one for oily skin and one for sensitive skin... but yeah maybe your just not trying products for your skin type...

I dont know but good luck =D.

Clinique Acne Solutions is amazing! Great for sensitive skin, too, as it's not so drying as Proactiv.

Never had a facial, though.
