Mike Myers is back! I'm glad he's doing live action comedies again. Ever since his SNL days I've been a huge fan, and he's got a great cast supporting him, with Justin Timberlake and Jessica Alba leading the way. I've got to check this out.

Meyers is a treasure to character acting. The roles he creates are priceless. Whether or not his co-stars are worth half a dead moose's last shit, he will be awesome.

I agree, Myers puts a lot of thought into the characters he creates, and the supporting cast is actually rather large and funny, so I'm excited. In particular I've seen Jim Gaffigan and Steven Colbert in recent TV commercials, and Ben Kingsley appearance in the latest trailer made me laugh:

More to the point of his characters though, there are a bunch of "mini-sutra" clips where the Guru Pitka discusses his philosophies.

What? How can you hate Stephen Colbert? He has so many fans that he has a whole nation of followers - Colbert Nation to be exact.

Plus there are some serious hotties in this, namely Jessica Alba and Meagan Good.

I cant wait to see this movie, Mike Myers is a genius on camera.

Nice to see some people like it. Have you seen the response on rotten tomatoes and box office mojo? All any one talks about on those boards is how dumb it looks, and how Myer's potty humor is unfunny to anyone above age 13. I don't see how any one can not want to see it, noone realizes that this almost like a sequel to Austin Powers, sure it's different characters and story, but the humor's still there, and I really hope it kills Get Smart. Get Smart looks alright, but the idea of it being more popular than the return of Mike Myers grinds my gears.

I can't believe this movie is getting so bashed - from the few good reviews I could find that described the movie's humor, I can tell I'll like it.
