To semi formal I always wanted one and I finally got one. Its a white dress with black polka dots with a red floral print on the skirt. I wore it do my dad's church celebration thingy it was special to my family so I saw a few people I knew they were all straight out casual. Sweats even. Then I went to the mall and I wanted to wear it, but I felt it was to semi formal to go wear to the mall or whatever. Its supposed to be casual, but I feel it is too semi formal. Wearing to the beach would be fine or a party, but I feel it is too semi formal, but it is meant to be casual.

It also depends on how you were your hair and what kind of shoes you wear.

I am just saying in general is a summer dress alright to go to the mall and stuff. I just don't want to feel too dressed up because a dress is too dressed up.

Who cares what others think if you think its fashion then wear it! I say if you like it wear it, who knows maybe you'll make some other girls jealous and pick up some guys at the mall.;]

yeah and nobody really should care what you wear as long as you feel confident in it. After all, its only semi-formal.

what's the big deal? i'm always in dresses. school, mall, work, whatever.
